The Art of Connection

This project explores the intersection of graphic design and illustration, examining how their combination can captivate attention, communicate messages effectively, and leave a lasting impact on an audience. To achieve this, I collaborated with my partner’s written works and applied the skills I developed during my time in the Master of Arts in Experiential Graphic Design program at Iowa State University. Using tools such as Adobe Illustrator, Adobe After Effects, and Procreate, I created visual pieces that blended typography, animation, and illustration in a way that engages a digital audience. Through these technologies and visual elements, my goal was to prompt viewers to reflect on their own life experiences and interpersonal relationships, encouraging a deeper connection with the work.
